Processing instructions for the press-fit tool
- Use only suitable press-fit tools for press-fitting.
- Press the pins of the press-fit tool into the recesses in the shoulders of the LF PowerPlus 2.0 Powerelements.
- For LF PowerPlus 2.0 Powerelements with threaded bolt, the top punch must be recessed by the dimension of the threaded bolt.
- For LF PowerPlus 2.0 bush versions, the bolt in the press-fit tool has no pressing function, it is for guidance only
- Do not apply pressure to the screw mounting surface and the threaded bolt.
- It is recommended to leave a gap of 0.5 mm between the PCB and the base of the bolt.
- For 3.2 mm PCBs, the holes must be larger (see hole pattern).
- For double sided use, the smaller Powerelement must be pressed in first.
