Our commitment is further reinforced by our certification according to ISO 14001, an internationally recognized standard for environmental management.
Our LF Powerelements clearly demonstrate how our sustainability standards are put into practice. They offer a lead-free alternative to our classic Powerelements. This more environmentally friendly solution is fully RoHS compliant and contains less than 0.1% lead.
With press-fit technology, one of our most important methods for PCB connection, we have long relied on a sustainable and durable approach. Compared to other technologies, it requires no flux and uses less energy and resources.

We have been using lead-free solutions for our LF Powerelements for several years now. Lead is a toxic heavy metal that can cause serious physical harm and pollute the environment through contamination. Nevertheless, it is still frequently used in industry due to its technical properties. With our lead-free solutions, toxic lead substances can be eliminated, and the environment protected.

Material Compliance
With our Powerelements, we comply with the legal standards and guidelines for the use of lead. All our Powerelements are RoHS-compliant: The Original Powerelements comply with the exemption regulation according to Annex III, 6c, while the lead-free LF Powerelements are RoHS-compliant without exemption and therefore future-proof. In addition, all our Powerelements are REACH-compliant.
